What is included in a quilt kit?
The baseline price includes enough fabric to make the quilt top, including the binding. Each fabric has been cut to the yardage needed for the quilt, so all you will have to do is follow the pattern in the magazine and cut out the pieces from each fabric. Backing fabric is usually available for a specific price. See individual quilt kits for details and information about each. Batting is not included.
Are quilt kits available for all quilts shown in your portfolio?
No. All quilt kits are listed under my "quilt kits" section. However, if you would like to see better detail on a quilt in the portfolio, just e-mail me and I will send you a higher-quality picture of that quilt.
What is the cost for shipping and handling?
Unless otherwise stated, shipping inside the U.S. is $9.95. Shipping to Canada is usually between $18.00 and $23.00. International shipping is usually between $23.00 and $37.00. Contact us to see how much shipping will be outside of the US. We ship our kits using USPS Priority Mail.
Do I have to pay tax on my purchase?
If you live in the state of Virginia, you will be charged a 5% sales tax. Otherwise, there will be no tax added to your order.

Your order will be shipped after I receive your payment, so the quickest way to receive your order is paying through PayPal®.
If I'd like to order extra fabric with my quilt kit, how will I pay for it?
If you'd like to add extra fabric to your kit, first contact us (info@thequiltstand.com) to make sure it is available. If it is, then you can either send us a check or money order, or we can send a PayPal® invoice to your e-mail address with your total, and you can pay that way.
What if there is a problem with my order?
I don't anticipate that you will have any problems with your quilt kit, as I try to be careful and double check the amount of each fabric needed before packaging the kit. However, if you find that your kit is missing something, please feel free to contact me and I will work with you to correct the issue. If you are dissatisfied with a quilt that you purchased, please contact me so that we can work something out. I want my customers to be satisfied!
